Sharing Your Gifts

1 Peter 4:10-11

As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

At Team Church, we strongly encourage the sharing of gifts. God has given each of us gifts which He intends for us to use to further His Kingdom. Gifts come in many different forms, but they were ALL meant to be shared.

Time and Talents

We all have the same number of hours in each day. We also realize some stages of life are more demanding of time than others. We hope you'll consider sharing your time with us when we're planning outreach in the community, working on helpful projects and missions, working in the building, and fellowship activities. Some ongoing opportunities we're involved with include volunteering at KARE, Youth Serve, Sidewalk Sunday School and more.

Also, if you're gifted musically, handy with a hammer, artistic/creative, a baby whisperer, organized, tech savvy, or gifted in some other way, let us know! We'd love to plug you in!

Giving financially to the church is called for in Scripture. Proverbs 3:9-10 says, "Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine." Sacrificial giving blesses the giver and honors the Lord. As a church, we sacrificially give to others. We would never ask you to give if we were, ourselves, unwilling to give.
